About the Role
You will be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (depending on your experience), helping to create a positive, nurturing learning environment. The role may include:
- Working 1:1 with pupils who need additional support
- Supporting small groups with phonics, reading, writing or maths
- Assisting the class teacher with daily routines and classroom activities
- Helping to create a calm, inclusive and engaging classroom
- Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
The school is known for its friendly staff team, strong community feel and supportive leadership — a fantastic place to grow your skills and make a real difference.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children (school, nursery, youth work or similar)
- A patient, nurturing and positive approach
- Good communication skills and a genuine passion for helping children thrive
- Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification is desirable but not essential
- Reliability, professionalism and a willingness to get stuck in
