The Role
As a Door Supervisor, you’ll help create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for customers, staff, and visitors.
Your responsibilities may include:
* Access and egress control
* Customer service and conflict management
* Venue and premises security
* Monitoring customer welfare and safety
* Incident reporting and record keeping
* Supporting venue management and staff
* Ensuring compliance with licensing and security procedures
Most shifts take place in Sheffield. If work is available further afield, transport may be provided or travel arrangements agreed in advance.
Essential Requirements
* Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
* Right to work in the UK
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Professional attitude and appearance
* Reliable, punctual and dependable
* Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
* Availability to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays when required
Desirable Qualifications
* Previous experience in licensed venues, hospitality or event security
* Emergency First Aid at Work qualification
* ACT Awareness, Prevent Awareness or similar security training
