Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Research Nurse to join our Renal Research Team. We are looking for a registered nurse with previous NHS experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to research that improves outcomes for people living with kidney disease.
As a Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of commercial and non-commercial research studies. You will be responsible for recruiting and consenting participants, providing education and support, coordinating study visits, performing research-related clinical procedures, administering investigational medicinal products where appropriate, collecting and processing biological samples, and ensuring accurate and timely data collection.
• Delivering clinical research studies in accordance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice standards.
• Identifying, screening, recruiting, and supporting research participants.
• Obtaining informed consent and ensuring participants are fully informed throughout their involvement in research.
• Performing study-related clinical assessments and procedures.
• Administering investigational medicinal products and monitoring participant safety where required.
• Collecting, documenting, and maintaining accurate research data and study records.
• Collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to facilitate study delivery.
• Promoting research awareness and supporting the integration of research into clinical practice.
