Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of maintenance and repair skills, enabling them to tackle various tasks around properties. This role requires a proactive individual who can work independently and efficiently, ensuring that all jobs are completed to a high standard.
An enhanced DBS check will be carried out prior to starting.
Responsibilities:
Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties.
Carry out plumbing tasks, including fixing leaks and installing fixtures.
Conduct electrical repairs, such as replacing light fittings and outlets.
Assemble and install furniture, appliances, and other equipment as required.
Paint walls, doors, and other surfaces to enhance the appearance of properties.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from clients or property managers.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all tasks.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Handy Man or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and general maintenance practices.
Ability to read technical manuals and follow instructions accurately.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
A valid driving licence is desirable for travelling between job sites.
Physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks as required.
Full UK driving licence
