The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting teaching and learning throughout the school. Working closely with class teachers and wider support staff, you will help create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive. Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and wider curriculum learning
• Delivering targeted interventions and structured small-group support
• Providing individual 1:1 support, including for pupils with additional needs
• Supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and resource management
• Promoting positive behaviour, engagement, and inclusion
• Contributing to a safe, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
About You
To be successful in this role, you will :
• Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Have previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Have experience supporting pupils with SEND
• Demonstrate a positive, proactive, and adaptable approach
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• Have strong spoken English skills to effectively support pupils, including those with English as an Additional Language (EAL)
• Be able to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
• Have the right to work in the UK
