Summary

Ian Williams is one of the largest privately owned national Property Services contractors in the UK and we are growing!

We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. In return, being a critical part of our commercial success will bring you security.

This role will be based in our Head Office in Chipping Sodbury (Bristol). Office hours are hybrid with typically 3 days in the office and 2 from home.

The Payroll Administrator role :


Support the delivery of accurate and timely weekly and monthly payroll processes
Assist with a range of payroll administration tasks, ensuring financial and employee data is maintained correctly across systems
Monitor and manage shared payroll mailboxes, responding to queries and escalating where appropriate
Carry out regular data accuracy checks across payroll systems, reports, and manual inputs
Review employee expense submissions to ensure compliance and accuracy
Support the preparation of internal and statutory reporting, including Office of National Statistics returns
Help ensure adherence to company processes and payroll compliance standards
Uphold company values through a professional, reliable and collaborative approach


What You Will Bring :

We’re looking for someone who is organised, detail-focused, and committed to delivering excellent service.


Previous payroll administrative experience.
The ability to prioritise, stay organised, and manage your workload effectively
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately across multiple data sources
Good working knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
A proactive, positive attitude and a willingness to learn and develop
