Summary
You will help develop the Audiology service at County Durham and Darlington NHs Foundation Trust and work at our outreach clinics for both the adult and paediatric population. You will undertake a range of diagnostic testing. You will support patients in understanding their hearing loss, set realistic expectations and develop individual management plans. Selecting and fitting appropriate hearing aids and reassessing hearing will form your main duties as well as supporting ENT clinics. You will support the direct access service across our community sites. You will have an area of interest in more complex audiology such as paediatric testing, tinnitus, complex adult rehabilitation or Bone conduction hearing implants.
