The Stores and Distribution Team in Pharmacy Services at LTH is a forward-thinking department that values the contribution of all our staff. What you will bring to the role Degree plus Advanced Diploma in Procurement & Supply and membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply OR Recognised qualification in pharmacy / medicines management and significant relevant experience and knowledge of MHRA Good Distribution Practice equivalent to degree level with evidence of further specialist training Provides local assurance and accountability that warehouse operations are undertaken in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP. )Working with the Operations manager to be responsible for the distribution route for products within the organisation, reviewing with customers the most appropriate route for product delivery, liaising with clinical colleagues Support the introduction of new technology and inventory management systems, segment customers to provide an integrated demand management system. Demand Management will reflect the total product requirements of customers irrespective of the supply route.Report formally on implementations and record key process indicators following implementation. Professional approach to all aspects of work, in particular the adoption of the Ethical Code of Conduct and the Trust’s Code of Conduct and to be accountable for such behaviour. Hard working, flexible to the demands of customers and committed to the outcomes required by the Organisation and Department.
