Our client is a global engineering business with multiple sites in the North East. They are currently looking for a Stores Person to be based at their site in Blyth on a 6-month fixed term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Stores Person to join a fast-paced, well-established operation where accuracy, organisation and teamwork are highly valued.
As a Stores Person, you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse and logistics activities, ensuring stock is received, stored and issued efficiently to meet operational demands.

• Issue parts, tools, PPE and equipment, ensuring records are updated
• Support logistics operations and maintain safe storage practices, including COSHH items
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Stores Person or within a warehouse/stores function in an engineering or industrial environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage workload independently

• Valid forklift (counterbalance) licence
• Good communication skills and a proactive, team-focused approach
This Stores Person role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a well-structured logistics team while developing your skills in a supportive environment.
We’re committed to promoting inclusive opportunities. If you’re excited about this Stores Person role but don’t meet every single requirement, we still encourage you to apply — your unique perspective could be exactly what they’re looking for.
