Summary
Support and work closely with the Lead Homecare Pharmacist to deliver a safe, high-quality pharmacy homecare service in line with national standards and policies. Manage and coordinate day-to-day homecare operations, including staff supervision, workload organisation, resolving medication/service issues, and maintaining high patient care standards. Act as a key contact between the Trust, homecare providers, pharmacists, clinical teams, suppliers, and patients, handling queries and supporting communication across services. Contribute to service improvement through developing procedures, monitoring KPIs, handling complaints/incidents, producing reports, and participating in audits, reviews, and meetings. Support staff training, recruitment, and development, while also assisting with medication coordination, ordering, and accuracy checking to ensure timely patient treatment.
