About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, analysing, and interpreting data to support business decision-making. You will work closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to identify trends, generate insights, and improve operational performance through data-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, validate, and maintain large datasets from various sources.
Analyse business and operational data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations using business intelligence tools.
Interpret data findings and present actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular performance reporting.
Support strategic planning and business improvement initiatives through data analysis.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and reporting needs.
Perform ad-hoc analysis to support management decisions.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with data governance standards.
Automate reporting processes where possible to improve efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Essential
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
Experience in a Data Analyst or similar analytical role.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Desirable
Experience with Python or R for data analysis.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modelling.
Familiarity with ETL processes and data pipelines.
