Smart Solutions are currently recruiting for experiencedHGV Class 2 Trade Waste & Skip Drivers to join our client based in Bathgate.

Shift Patterns
Trade Waste
Start time: 5:00am
Finish time: Between 1:00pm and 2:30pm
Skip Operations
Start time: 6:00am
Finish time: Between 4:00pm and 4:30pm
Monday to Friday working pattern.
Pay & Benefits
Up to £15.00 per hour
Overtime paid at 1.5 times the standard hourly rate
Weekly pay
Ongoing, full-time work
Full PPE and uniform provided

Key Responsibilities
Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles for Trade Waste or Skip collections.
Complete daily vehicle inspections and report any defects promptly.
Plan and follow efficient collection routes.
Deliver excellent customer service at customer sites.
Ensure bins and skips are positioned correctly and sites are left clean and tidy.
Comply with all drivers' hours regulations, health and safety requirements, and waste duty of care legislation.
Complete all relevant paperwork and vehicle records accurately.
Essential Requirements
Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
Valid Driver CPC qualification.
Digital Tachograph Card.
Previous experience operating Class 2 vehicles.
