We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school team in Bacup from September 2026 on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and helping pupils achieve their full potential in a positive and nurturing environment.
The role will include:
• Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
• Working alongside class teachers to deliver learning activities
• Providing one-to-one and small group support
• Encouraging pupil confidence, engagement, and independence
• Helping to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
We are looking for someone who:
• Has experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
• Has a caring, patient, and positive approach
• Can build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• Is reliable, enthusiastic, and committed to making a difference
