We are recruiting an SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term temporary role starting in September at a school in the BL9 area. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting pupils with additional needs and is looking for a stable role across the academic year.
- Supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis
- Assisting with learning activities tailored to individual needs
- Helping pupils develop confidence, independence, and social skills
- Working closely with teachers and the SENCO to follow support plans
- Providing consistent support in and out of the classroom
- Individuals with experience supporting children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties)
- Patient, reliable, and proactive candidates
- Strong communicators who work well as part of a team
- Previous school-based experience is desirable but not essential
- Daily pay of up to £120
- Long-term placement starting in September
- Opportunity to build meaningful relationships with pupils and staff
- Support and guidance throughout the placement
