Summary
Key Responsibilities; Foster a culture of clinical engagement and develop evidence-basedpathways. Maintain effective clinical networks and provide adviceto local partnerships. Lead the development of local pathways across primary, secondary, and mental health care. Promote innovation and resilience in neighbourhood clinical teams. Support the Medical Director with clinical priorities and education. Engage with professional bodies and support patient and public involvement. Use data to support service development and transformational change. Contribute to Core20plus 5 requirements for health improvement and equity. Improve quality and reduce variation in primary care. Encourage research and innovation. Clinical leads will contribute and be decision-makers in clinical policy and the IFR process, ensuring fairness, transparency, and consistency in handling individual funding requests. Clinical leads will be crucial in taking a lead role in responding to complaints within the ICB.
