The Opportunity
ZETEC Recruitment are recruiting experienced Counterbalance FLT Drivers to join a busy manufacturing operation based in Swadlincote.
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced production environment, supporting manufacturing operations through the safe movement of materials, stock and finished goods across the site.
Working hours:
• Monday to Thursday: 06:00 - 16:30
• Friday: 06:00 - 12:00
Key Responsibilities
• Operating Counterbalance FLT trucks safely and efficiently
• Supplying raw materials and components to production lines
• Removing finished goods from production areas
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Transporting stock between warehouse, production and yard locations
• Carrying out general yard duties and stock movements
• Conducting daily FLT checks and reporting any defects
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and health & safety
• Supporting warehouse and production teams as required
Requirements
• Valid Counterbalance FLT Licence
• Previous experience operating Counterbalance FLT trucks within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles
• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
• Good awareness of health and safety procedures
