Job Vacancy: Drilling Operative - Steel Warehouse (Scunthorpe)
Location: Scunthorpe
Job Type: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)
Hourly Rate: £14.91 per hour
Experience: Mandatory - must have proven drilling experience
Working Hours- Training period (first 12 weeks):
- Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm
- After training:
- Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 4:00pm
We are recruiting an experienced Drilling Operative to join a busy steel warehouse team in Scunthorpe. You will operate drilling machinery to process steel components safely and accurately, maintaining high quality and productivity.
Key Responsibilities- Operate pillar drills and industrial drilling equipment
- Drill holes and features into steel sections and plates
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Maintain safe working practices at all times
- Carry out routine checks and report any issues
- Support general warehouse duties when required
