Summary
Your new role
My client is seeking temporary support to provide cover during a period of annual leave. The role involves receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and packages in an accurate and timely manner.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and dispatching outgoing mail, including recorded, special delivery, and international post
- Operating franking machines and ensuring correct postage is applied
- Maintaining records of incoming and outgoing shipments where required
- Providing courier and general logistics support
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in a mail room, logistics, or similar operational role is desirable
- Experience using franking machines or courier booking systems is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Basic IT skills, including email, tracking systems, and spreadsheets
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
