We are looking for a kind, caring, and compassionate PA to support a delightful 34-year-old young man who has a warm personality and youthful outlook on life. He is autistic and experiences epileptic episodes approximately once a year. He also has a speech impairment but communicates well in his own way and enjoys spending time watching YouTube videos and engaging in activities within the community.
This rewarding role involves supporting him both at home and out in the community to help him live an enjoyable and fulfilling life. At home, you will assist with daily living tasks such as helping with feeding, dressing, washing, preparing breakfast and lunch, and administering medication. He can walk short distances and benefits from gentle encouragement and support throughout the day.
A big part of the role is helping him access and enjoy activities he loves. This includes outings such as bowling, walks, physical exercise activities, trips to the cinema, visiting gardens, and eating out. The ideal PA will be patient, positive, and enjoy building meaningful relationships while supporting independence and wellbeing.
He attended QE2 School in Horsham and Crawley College and thrives with someone who is understanding, reliable, and able to provide calm and consistent support.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference in another person’s life while supporting them to remain active, happy, and connected to their community.
