Early Years Educator Apprentice (Level 3)

Key Responsibilities
Under the direction of teachers and early years professionals, you will:
• Support the care and development of nursery children, including those with additional needs.
• Assist with the preparation of resources and the organisation of nursery rooms.
• Help with tidying, cleaning, and maintaining a safe learning environment.
• Engage children in purposeful play, learning experiences, and physical activities.
• Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.
• Supervise and interact positively with children, encouraging good behaviour and social skills.
• Help create an environment where effective learning can take place.
• Work in accordance with nursery and school policies and procedures.
• Take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others.
Apprenticeship Details
• Position: Early Years Educator Apprentice (Level 3)
• Duration: 24 months
• Training Provider: Skills England / East Lancs Learning Group
• Training Delivery: Rolling enrolment
• Hours: 42.35 hours per week
• Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:50pm
Essential Requirements
• GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/Grade 4 or above (or equivalent).
• A genuine interest in working with young children.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
