We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Preschool Lead to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Oldbury from September 2026. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact within the setting, with the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day running of the preschool provision, ensuring high-quality Early Years practice.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS Framework.
- Support and promote children's social, emotional, physical, and educational development.
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff to create a positive and nurturing learning environment.
- Monitor, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to observations and learning journeys.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues to support each child's development and wellbeing.
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are consistently met.

What We're Looking For:
- A Level 6 qualification in an Early Years-related subject (or equivalent) is essential.
- Previous experience leading or managing an Early Years or Preschool setting.
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and child development.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
- A passion for supporting young children to achieve their full potential.

Why Work with Long Term Futures?
- Long-term, stable work with the potential for a permanent role.
- No day-to-day supply - full-time consistency in one school.
- A dedicated consultant to support you throughout your placement.
- Trial days instead of formal interviews to ensure the right fit.
- Access to free CPD training, including Understanding Autism, Behaviour Management, and further professional development/refreshers.

Long Term Futures is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All applicants will be subject to safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.

If you are an experienced Early Years professional with a Level 6 qualification in an Early Years-related subject, and are looking for a rewarding opportunity within a supportive Oldbury primary school, we would love to hear from you.
