Salary circa £49,000 per annum plus 34 days leave (rising to 39) and matching pension contribution up to 7% with life insurance of 3x salary

What you’ll do

  • Lead national analysis to uncover trends and root causes that drive performance.
  • Create forecasting and predictive models to spot risks and opportunities early.
  • Turn complex data into clear insight that influences senior decision-makers.
  • Build processes that share learning and best practice across regions.
  • Act as the operational voice, linking commercial drivers to real-world impact.

You have

  • A degree in Business, Finance, Maths or equivalent experience in data analysis.
  • Experience in data visualisation, mining and deep-dive analysis for insight.
  • Advanced Excel skills with VBA/Macros and tools like Power BI and SQL.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions.
  • A self-starter mindset with excellent prioritisation and communication skills.

The practical bits

  • You’ll manage your own diary.
  • Our team is North East based with our office in central Newcastle. We're flexible to you being elsewhere working from home and/or another Home Group office, if you're happy to travel to meet us in the north east once in a while.
  • We work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our central Newcastle office, (or another local office if you’re not in the North East!) with the rest from home.
