Summary

Housing Support Worker (Agile)

Location: Conwy/Gwynedd
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £24,545 per annum (£13.36 per hour)
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, flexibility required

About the Role
Reporting to the Supported Housing Manager, you’ll be responsible for contributing towards the delivery of a person-centred trauma informed support service within the standards and requirements of NWH, commissioners, funders, and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:
• Ensuring the safety of the building and residents
• Acting as first point of call to deal with any incidents appropriately, contacting and liaising with NWH staff, emergency services, voluntary and statutory agencies
• Keeping accurate records as required and handing over to staff as appropriate
• Assisting clients with claims for housing and associated benefits
• Providing a range of engagement and involvement activities to promote social inclusion amongst clients


About You

Essential requirements:
• Awareness of professional boundaries
• Understanding of safeguarding principles for children and vulnerable adults
• Awareness of the support needs of vulnerable people
• Demonstrable experience of working in a client centred environment
• Demonstrable experience of working in a confidential manner
