Key Responsibilities

Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, carrying out root cause analysis and producing clear reports with actionable recommendations
Identify corrective and preventative measures to minimise risk and improve workplace safety standards
Deliver engaging safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programmes across teams
Provide practical advice and guidance to managers and employees on health and safety matters
Support the development of a positive and proactive safety culture across all business operations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and clients to drive continuous improvement initiatives
About You

You will have:

Proven experience within a Health & Safety role, with practical application of relevant legislation and industry standards
Strong knowledge of Occupational Health principles and their integration into day-to-day operations
Experience conducting accident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions
Confidence delivering safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions to varied audiences
Understanding of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) principles, including environmental risk assessment and sustainable working practices
A relevant qualification such as NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
High attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, concise reports and documentation
Previous experience within multi-site service environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
