We are looking for a reliable and proactive Logistics & Mail Room Operative to deliver a responsive, customer-focused mailroom and logistics service within a fast-paced site environment.​

This role is hands-on and physical, involving the day-to-day running of the mailroom, goods in and goods out, and supporting meeting and event set-ups across site.

Job Description

We are seeking someone passionate about providing excellent customer service, who takes pride in their work and can adapt quickly when priorities change.​

As part of the logistics team, you will play a key role in ensuring services are delivered professionally and in line with site SLAs and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage incoming and outgoing mail, parcels and courier arrangements

Receive, log and distribute goods across site (goods in / goods out)

Support room, meeting and event set-ups, including lifting and moving items

Provide porterage services and assist with general site logistics

Maintain accurate records using MS Office and internal systems

Deliver a professional, customer-facing service at all times

Work flexibly in response to reactive and short-notice tasks

Ensure safe manual handling practices are followed at all times

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable with manual handling, lifting and a high level of walking

Good IT skills, including MS Office and data input

Experience using pallet trucks and/or forklift trucks is desirable (training provided; certification required if already held)

Strong work ethic with a positive, helpful and flexible approach

Reliable, punctual and takes pride in delivering high standards

Full UK driving licence, held for a minimum of 12 months
