Summary
Marylebone Services is delighted to represent our client, a high-quality nursery setting located in St John's Wood, London (NW8), in recruiting a dedicated and passionate Preschool Room Leader for an immediate start. This unique room-based role offers full-time stability with shorter, highly desirable weekly hours and an exceptional work-life balance through extensive paid holiday closures.
Role Overview
Status: Full-Time (Shorter Hours)
Hours: 32 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 3:00pm, and Friday 8:00am – 12:00pm
Salary: £25,500 – £27,500/year
Start Date: ASAP
Candidate Requirements
Right to Work: Must have a valid and mandatory Right to Work in the UK.
Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare.
Experience: 1–2 years of experience as a Room Leader preferred..
Skills: Exceptional written and spoken communication skills.
Key Duties
Drive Vision: Implement the nursery’s ethos with high expectations for children’s achievement.
Lead Staff: Manage and supervise the room staff team.
Ensure Safety: Maintain a safe, caring, and stimulating environment following Ofsted standards.
Track Growth: Execute high-quality observations, planning, and assessments.
Engage Parents: Build strong partnerships with families to support learning at home.
