Duties as Secondary Supply Teacher:

- Adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of pupils with varying abilities
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure continuity of learning
- Engage pupils and keep them focused throughout the school day
- Support pupils’ learning and progress during each placement
- Provide clear feedback and handover notes for permanent staff
- Represent Class Act professionally while working as a Secondary Supply Teacher
Ideal Secondary Supply Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in a secondary school setting
- Confidence working with pupils across KS3 and KS4
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A flexible, reliable, and adaptable approach to supply teaching
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Willingness to work across different school environments
