Summary
Our client is looking for Food Production Operatives for a local company based in Wellingborough.
Hours are shifts of Monday to Friday 06.00-15.00pm and 15.00-00.00am.
Job purpose
To assist in the overall production and dispatch of customer’s orders.
To provide accurate and prompt picking, packing and despatch of goods in line with
the orders and paperwork. The job also includes other general duties to maintain the efficient working of the factory.
Key duties and responsibilities
* Putting lids onto food boxes and packing food items.
* To work efficiently as part of the team to achieve targets as outlined by
manager.
* To report any problems or issues immediately to line manager.
* Pick and pack customer orders to achieve agreed turn-round targets and
using suitable packaging products.
* Keep warehouse and outside forecourts clean and tidy, keeping gangways
clear.
* To observe and comply with high levels of Health and safety.
* To be adaptable and flexible in approach to work.
Experience Required
Qualifications include:
• Fit for active work in a factory setting.
• Require attention to detail.
• Understand and apply Health and Safety Regulations.
