Looking for a hands-on role this summer where no two days are the same?
Moorland Kitchen at Exeter Airport is on the lookout for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our friendly,
close‑knit team from June to October.

This is a great opportunity to build experience in a fast-paced kitchen, learn new skills, and be part of a team that truly
supports each other.

What you’ll be doing

As a Kitchen Assistant, you’ll play a key role in keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes. You’ll support our chefs
and wider team during busy service periods, helping deliver great food and a great experience for our customers.

You’ll get involved in:

* Preparing food and assembling grab‑and‑go items
* Supporting service during busy periods
* Pot washing and maintaining a clean, organised kitchen
* Stock rotation and general kitchen support

It’s a varied role where you’ll always be kept busy and working as part of a team.

What we’re looking for

No previous chef experience needed it’s all about attitude.

You’ll be:

* Positive, proactive and happy to get stuck in
* A team player who supports others during busy shifts
* Reliable, hardworking and organised
* Confident communicating with colleagues
* Keen to learn and develop new skills

If you enjoy working in a fast-moving environment where everyone pulls together, you’ll fit right in.

Hours, shifts & location

* Fixed term: June to October
* 40 hours per week
* Shifts can start as early as 2:30am
* Due to limited public transport at these times, reliable personal transport is essential

Enhanced pay: Any hours worked between 2:30am and 6:00am are paid at time and a half (£19.82 per hour)
