About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our restaurant team in Edinburgh. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Preparing and crafting high-quality sushi dishes with attention to detail and presentation
-Ensuring the freshness and quality of all ingredients
-Maintaining clean and organised workstations in line with food hygiene and safety standards
-Managing sushi preparation during busy service periods
-Assisting with stock control and ingredient ordering as needed
What We're Looking For:
-Proven experience as a Sushi Chef in a restaurant setting
-Strong knife skills and knowledge of traditional sushi preparation techniques
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
-Reliable, detail-oriented, and a good team player
-Level 2 or Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate
