Randstad is seeking a compassionate Specialist Mentor (Mental Health) to empower university students navigating mental health challenges. This role offers you the opportunity to make a difference whilst being able to enjoy a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities: As a Specialist Mentor, you will work one-on-one with students to provide tailored support.

Your key duties will include:

  • Helping students achieve a healthy balance between daily living activities and academic tasks.
  • Improving organisational skills, including effective time management.
  • Assisting students in preparing for deadlines by breaking down assignments into manageable steps.
  • Supporting students in managing stress and anxiety related to their studies or daily life.
  • Guiding students in reflecting on their personal and academic experiences.
  • Boosting student's confidence by identifying and building upon their existing strengths.
  • Maintaining close communication with Randstad and reporting any student concerns promptly.
  • Upholding the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.



Requirements: This is a specialist role. You must hold active membership with at least one of the recognised professional organisations at the required level.

Desired Skills & Attributes:

  • High level of empathy and a deep understanding of others needs.
  • Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities or learning difficulties.
