Working Hours : 32Hrs *Includes weekends*
Kitchen Assistant – Eversleigh Care Centre, Wolverhampton
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly and highly regarded catering team at Eversleigh Care Centre, a busy nursing home located in West Park, Wolverhampton.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about maintaining high standards and contributing to a positive dining experience for our 74 residents.
Key Responsibilities:
Washing and maintaining cleanliness of crockery, cutlery, and drinking utensils
Ensuring dining rooms are clean, tidy, and properly set up before meal times
Supporting the chef in maintaining excellent kitchen cleanliness and food hygiene standards in line with a planned cleaning schedule.
Assisting with basic food preparation and occasional cooking tasks
Helping to maintain high levels of service and hygiene within the kitchen
Supporting the Head Chef with stock-taking and kitchen organisation
About You:
A positive attitude and strong work ethic
A team player with good attention to detail
Willingness to learn and support colleagues
Experience in a care or catering environment is desirable, but not essential
