Summary
Nursery Manager
Up to £40,000 per annum | 40 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead a warm and welcoming nursery set within a beautiful converted house in a peaceful location.
This homely setting provides a nurturing environment for children at every stage of their early years journey, with dedicated rooms for babies, toddlers, and pre-school children, including a thoughtfully designed sensory room. The nursery also offers spacious learning environments and fantastic outdoor areas where children are encouraged to explore, play, and develop with confidence.
Currently holding a Good Ofsted rating, the nursery is looking for a strong and experienced leader with a proven management and Ofsted track record to continue driving high standards across the setting.
What We’re Looking For
Level 3 Early Years qualification or above – essential
Previous experience as a Nursery Manager – essential
Strong leadership and team management skills
Proven experience maintaining high standards and positive Ofsted outcomes
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Passion for delivering high-quality early years education and care

Key Responsibilities
Leading the day-to-day operations of the nursery
Maintaining high standards of care, education, and compliance across the setting
Leading, supporting, and developing the nursery team
Ensuring the delivery of engaging learning experiences in line with EYFS
Overseeing safeguarding, health & safety, and operational standards
Building strong relationships with children, families, and external professionals
Driving continuous improvement and supporting future Ofsted success
