An experienced Facilities Manager is required to oversee operations within a prestigious corporate environment in Brighton.
This is a hands-on management role responsible for delivering both hard and soft FM services, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, stakeholder engagement, and a first-class workplace experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the on-site facilities team
Oversee hard and soft FM services across the site
Manage contractors, compliance, permits to work, and maintenance programmes
Ensure HVAC, electrical, water hygiene, fire safety, and building systems are maintained to a high standard
Control operational budgets and supplier performance
Carry out inspections, audits, and quality checks
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and clients
Drive a proactive and customer-focused workplace culture
Essential Experience:
Previous Facilities Management experience within commercial environments
Strong knowledge of:
HVAC and M&E systems
Compliance and UK building regulations
PPM/reactive maintenance
Contractor management
Health & Safety and permit systems
Experience managing FM teams and suppliers
Strong communication and organisational skills
Preferred:
FM qualifications such as CFM or FMP
Experience within corporate or high-end commercial buildings
Strong financial and operational management background
