CLIINCAL SPECIALIST PHYSIOTHERAPIST

FIXED TERM TO 23.04.27.

36 HOURS PER WEEK, BAND 7, To cover Maternity leave.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Outpatient MSK Physiotherapy Team based at Queens Hospital Burton (QHB) Site. You will be part of a friendly and skilled MSK team.

We are looking for a motivated musculoskeletal physiotherapist who can demonstrate advanced assessment skills on a diverse and complex MSK caseload. They need to have a proven ability to provide a working diagnosis and develop individualised treatment programmes. Our service receives referrals from primary care, secondary care (including post operative/trauma rehabilitation), and staff self-referrals. The wider team includes hand therapy, women’s health and rheumatology.

You will work primarily in MSK Physiotherapy Outpatients being the departmental clinical lead in advanced assessment and treatment of patients who have highly complex rehabilitation needs. You will receive a full induction to ensure competencies are achieved if not already gained in this role. You will have a strong focus on rehabilitation working to ensure making every contact count and personalised care is integrated and embedded across the department.
