About Elemental

At Elemental Consulting Group Limited, we’re more than a consultancy - we’re trusted partners to our clients, delivering smart, strategic solutions that drive growth, transformation, and long-term success. We work across diverse sectors, helping organisations navigate complexity with clarity, confidence, and creativity. As a member of our team, you’ll be joining a company that values people as much as performance, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and empowering environment where every team member has a voice and the opportunity to make a real impact.

Role Overview

Core Hours: Monday - Thursday, 4 hours per day.

We are looking for a confident individual who can manage key supplier relationships, with the opportunity over time to improve working processes and build strong relationships with dedicated points of contact. This role is suited to an individual with a background in client-focused roles—such as CRM, business development, utility consultancy, or data processing—who is passionate about supporting businesses in reducing energy consumption and lowering their environmental impact.

The Client Account Manager is central to our service delivery. You will manage key client accounts as the primary point of contact, ensuring the effective validation, recording, and analysis of energy and carbon data. You will help clients meet compliance obligations and deliver against sustainability goals through technical insight, project coordination, and relationship management. This role reports to a senior team member and carries responsibility for the quality and performance of client-facing work.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on your experience, duties include the following (with training and development provided where required):
• Data & Bill Validation: Managing bill validation processes to ensure accuracy in energy invoicing, processing client invoices, and resolving discrepancies.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Liaising with energy suppliers, third parties, and debt collection agencies to maintain account integrity and resolve outstanding issues.
• Relationship Management: Maintaining regular communication with clients to understand their needs, manage expectations, and build long-term, trust-based relationships.
• Data Systems: Reformatting client data files and importing them accurately into internal systems or specialist software platforms while handling confidential data securely.
• Analysis & Reporting: Collecting, analysing, and interpreting data to support emissions monitoring and producing high-quality technical reports for project delivery.
• Quality & Mentorship: Reviewing and providing quality assurance for team outputs and mentoring junior team members.
• Project Coordination: Coordinating, monitoring, and implementing multiple work-streams and projects using technical systems and software with confidence.
• Engagement: Attending client meetings and assisting with internal and external engagement to support objectives.

What We’re Looking For
• Strong understanding of energy and carbon data.
• Experience in client account management within energy, sustainability, or utilities.
• Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely with excellent numerical and organisational skills.
• Confident in using MS Office (Intermediate to Advanced level).
• Motivated, deadline-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns and trends.
• High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality work.
• Commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities for cross-selling services.
• Collaborative team player who acts with impartial judgement, discretion, and professionalism.

Desirable
• Qualification in maths and English, business studies, and/or energy carbon accounting.
• Previous experience delivering reports and presenting to senior stakeholders.
