Summary

Electrical Fitter / Panel Wirer

Droitwich Spa | £19–£20 per hour DOE | ⏰ 40 Hours per Week | Monday–Friday Days

Are you a skilled Electrical Fitter or Panel Wirer looking for your next opportunity with a supportive and growing team? We’re looking for a hands-on professional with experience in control panels, electrical wiring, and precision assembly to join our busy workshop team — with occasional site work when required.

You’ll be working on a variety of electrical and automation projects, including systems linked to robotic and automated machinery, giving you the chance to further develop your experience within modern industrial automation environments.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for building, wiring, testing, and fault-finding electrical control panels and systems to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels and automation systems
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings
  • Install and troubleshoot electrical components including relays, motors, PLCs, and automation equipment
  • Assist with wiring and integration of robotic and automated machinery systems
  • Carry out quality inspections and testing to ensure compliance and performance standards
  • Support occasional on-site installations and commissioning work
    What We’re Looking For
    • Previous experience as an Electrical Fitter, Panel Wirer, or similar electrical assembly role
    • Strong understanding of electrical systems, wiring techniques, and industrial components
    • Experience working with control panels, PLCs, or automation equipment would be advantageous
    • Ability to confidently read and work from wiring diagrams and schematics
    • Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
    • High attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
    • Flexibility to travel occasionally for site-based work
