Summary

Self Employed Personal Carer /Support Worker

About the Direct Payment Holder A young man with Autism and Learning Disabilities requires support with social interaction and accessing activities.

Hours and rate of pay £25 per hour – SELF-EMPLOYED
Please note - The shifts can be split between more than 1 PA
various shifts available including daytime, morning, afternoon, evening, overnight sleep-in shifts, weekday and weekends.

Location Stevenage (SG1)
DBS/Checks Confirmation of DBS check
Right to Work and references will be needed.
Training Training will be provided to fulfil the mandatory requirements needed.

• Introduction to first aid
• Health and Safety

What you would be doing… Support with accessing the community and accessing activities like going to the gym, for walks, support at social groups and within the home.
Required skills and experience Seeking a PA friendly, cheerful and empathetic towards those with disabilities who will enjoy interacting and joining in with activities.

Someone experienced in working with those with Autism and Learning Disabilities, particularly in communication difficulty and autism related anxiety and behaviours.

Own car with business use on insurance
