Summary


To work as part of the Community CAMHS multi-disciplinary team with a specific focus on children and young people referred to the CAMHS service for assessment of ADHD and/or ASD.











The post holder will work within the community setting across Bolton and Wigan Community CAMHS, supporting patients on their journey but be expected to be flexible in terms of delivering care within a variety of settings.

•To support with the triage of new and existing referrals made into Community CAMHS for ADHD and/or ASD assessments as part of the new GM ND Transformation Agenda



• To support the Neurodevelopmental Nurse-led service from assessment to diagnosis and subsequent monitoring arrangements in line with NICE Recommendations.



•To provide consultation to a skill mixed team regarding ADHD and ASD and to facilitate a culture of learning and reflective practice.



• To work in collaboration with the Clinical Team Manager, NMP’s and Senior Practitioners to support the clinical governance / public health and NHS modernisation agenda.



•To actively contribute to the implementation of the safeguarding agenda within the service, in partnership with the GMMH safeguarding team.
