Summary

Teaching Assistant - Supply contract

Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (Term Time Only)
Contract: Term Time Only | Short-Term, Long-Term & Ad-Hoc Opportunities Available
Salary: £14-£16 per hour (depending on experience)

We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a school in Wolverhampton, West Midlands, supporting students both academically and pastorally. The role involves assisting teachers in the classroom, supporting pupils with a range of learning needs, and helping to create a positive and inclusive environment. You will also provide mentoring and wellbeing support, encouraging students to build confidence, resilience, and engagement in learning.
- Ability to inspire and support students to engage positively with learning and reach their potential.
- Genuine interest in helping young people develop emotionally, socially, and academically.
- GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4 or equivalent.
- Understanding of alternative education settings and supporting pupils with SEND or additional needs.
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a school or similar environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive professional relationships.
- Committed to safeguarding, inclusion, equality, diversity, and promoting positive values.
- Able to travel to or work within Wolverhampton, West Midlands.
