About the Service

We are looking for someone to join our friendly and welcoming team at our Darlington Road service in Stockton-on-Tees.

This is a Registered Care Home, where you’ll have the opportunity to truly enhance people’s lives by delivering creative, dynamic and person-centred support.

You will be supporting 7 individuals with a range of complex needs, helping them to live fulfilling and meaningful lives every day.


‍⚕️ The Role

This is a varied and rewarding role, where no two days are the same. You’ll be part of a supportive team making a real difference.

Your responsibilities will include:


Supporting with personal care (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Household tasks such as laundry, ironing cleaning
Supporting activities both in the service and in the community
Accompanying individuals to activities such as:

Swimming
⛸️ Ice skating
Discos
Bowling
Walks and day trips
Holidays


Supporting with shopping and managing finances
Administering medication
Completing daily logs and updating records using One Touch (digital platform)
Carrying out daily, weekly and monthly health & safety checks


You’ll play a key role in promoting independence, safety and wellbeing every day.


⏰ Shifts

Hours are double shifts of 14 hours, and half shifts of 6 or 8 hours, night shifts are 10 hours.

You will be working on a rota basis so full availability is required across the week and weekend.


Long days: 07:30 – 21:30 (14 hours)
Half shifts:

07:30 – 13:30
13:30 – 21:30


Waking nights: 21:30 – 07:30 (10 hours)




✅ Requirements


Previous experience is desirable, but full training will be provided
An enhanced Adult DBS is required
