About the Role
Our Client in Buckhurst Hill is looking for a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join their Early Years team.
The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing within a safe, nurturing, and stimulating nursery environment while working in line with the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced childcare professional who is passionate about Early Years education and committed to delivering high-quality care to young children.
Key Responsibilities
Support children’s learning and development through engaging play-based activities
Work in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
Create a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Observe and monitor children’s progress and development
Support daily nursery routines including mealtimes, hygiene, and outdoor play
Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare standards at all times
Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development
Assist with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
Work collaboratively as part of the nursery team
Requirements
Minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare / Early Years
Previous nursery or childcare experience preferred
Good understanding of the EYFS framework
Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passionate about working with children and supporting their development
Reliable, professional, and positive attitude
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
