Summary
UDirect Support are supporting a local family to recruit Personal Assistants to provide care & support to their 3-year-old son living with Cerebral Palsy & additional complex healthcare needs in their own home.
The Personal Assistants will join an already established team providing top quality 24/7 care. The team and the package support the young child with:
Clinical Care including the use of specialist medical equipment (full training provided)
All aspects of personal care, emotional needs and wellbeing
Development and Social Activities (including sensory, local walks & outings)
Ongoing and changing needs.
These vacancies are primarily to cover Waking Night shifts within the package however, flexibility is essential to meet the child's (and the package's) changing needs (including covering holidays and sickness at short notice where required).
Candidates must be willing to learn, have patience and be of a kind and caring nature. They must also be willing complete mandatory training including face to face and e-learn sessions.
An enhanced DBS check is required for this role. The costs of this will be covered by the package for the successful candidates.
