What You'll Be Doing:
• Leading, evaluating and elevating all SEND provision across the school
• Managing EHCPs, reviewing student progress, and driving strategic interventions
• Coaching, mentoring and inspiring classroom teachers and LSAs
• Coordinating external agencies, families, and the wider school community
• Designing bespoke learning pathways and championing ambitious, inclusive curricula
• Monitoring, assessing and reporting SEN impact to SLT and Governors

Ideal SENCO for this Barking and Dagenham School:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with robust UK classroom experience
• Outstanding track record in SEN/Inclusion—references to match
• Proactive, creative, solutions-focused and passionate about student outcomes
• Evidence of strategic leadership or clear aspirations for SEND leadership
• Confident communicator, with warmth and unwavering commitment
• Deep knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice and person-centred practice
