As a Part-time Supply Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of our students. Your primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, assisting the lead teacher in the classroom, providing individualised attention to students, and ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support and assistance to the lead teacher, implementing lesson plans and activities as directed.
- Assist students with their academic work, offering guidance and encouragement to help them reach their full potential.
- Facilitate small group and one-on-one learning sessions, tailoring your approach to meet the needs of each student.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting the school's values and fostering a love of learning.
- Collaborate with the teaching team to identify and address any learning or behavioural challenges.
- Prepare and organise classroom resources, ensuring the learning environment is well-equipped and conducive to learning.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to the school's policies, procedures, and safeguarding guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

Qualifications and Experience:
- A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Teaching Assistance or a related field
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents
- Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to changing classroom needs
- A passion for education and a genuine desire to support the academic and personal growth of students
- Familiarity with the national curriculum and educational best practices
- Proficient in the use of technology and digital tools to enhance the learning experience
