Summary
Bamboo Childcare are recruiting for a Deputy Nursery Manager on behalf of our client based within a reputable company in Aberdeen.
This is a permanent full time position for 40 hrs per week over 5 days Monday to Friday.
The company can offer the following for the Deputy Nursery Manager:
- Competitive salary of £34500k per annum
- Pension
- Opportunity to work in a reputable nursery which is part of a small group of nurseries.
Requirements of the Deputy Nursery Manager in Aberdeen:
- A passionate and positive attitude
- Must have SVQ3, HNC or equivalent in childcare
- Must have at least 2 years experience in childcare and have previously been in a senior role.
- The BA is an advantage, but not a necessity, although the nursery would prefer that applicants be willing to undertake the BA in the future.
- Good understanding of the curriculum.
- Knowledge and understanding of key legislation related to childcare and education
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- A positive attitude, good initiative, confident and approachable
The role of Deputy Nursery Manager will include:
- Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues
- Ensuring health, safety and well-being of the children at all times
- Supporting the Nursery Manager with all tasks
