Exciting opportunity to work for a leading FM service provider situated in Westminster. CBW is currently recruiting for a Fabric engineer for a temp contract based in a Hotel. He or she will have a proven track record as a Fabric Engineer ideally with experience within Hotels.
Hours of work / contract details
- 8am - 5pm
- Monday - Friday
- Temporary ongoing
- Up to £20 per hour (umbrella)
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- General fabric repairs
- Furniture moves porterage
- Painting & Decorating
- Basic lighting
- Fixing Furniture
- Hanging Pictures & Shelves
- Maintain and update Log books
- Assist the maintenance team on site e.g PPMs, fire alarm tests, tap temp checks, flushing
- Escort sub-contractors
- To undertake basic “Fabric duties” which would include touching up paintwork, tightening hinges, install/repair blinds, changing locks , making minor repairs to cabinets, desks, and putting together small equipment like chairs etc.
Requirements
- A proven track record in Fabric maintenance
- Hotel work experience advantageous
- Good communication skills
- Immediately available or able to start at short notice
