Summary

We are looking for a Research Fellow with PhD qualifications, with experience of conducting qualitative research particularly using a realist approach, with strong organisational and paper writing skills.

About the role:

You will work with a research team on a NIHR funded study investigating the career progression of international medical graduates (IMGs) using a realist approach (SUP IMG Study, NIHR 163631).

You will be responsible for:
• conducting qualitative data collection and analysis.
• reporting findings for peer-review publication.

This is a part-time post working 14.8 hours a week on a fixed-term basis until June 2028 due to funding.

This is an ideal opportunity for an excellent Research Fellow, keen to work in a supportive context that will enable them to achieve change in the development of the healthcare workforce, and take the next step in your career. You will be actively supported to develop your own research career whilst working with us.

For this role, you will need to be on site 1 days a week. Although we can accommodate hybrid working, flexibility to be on-site will be expected depending on business needs.

You may be required to obtain an ATAS Certificate prior to this research being undertaken.
