Working Hours: 17.5 hours per week

Remuneration: £20,192 Starting Salary (salary during 6 month probation period)

£21,257 Salary (upon completion of successful probation)

About the Role

As the Housing Officer, you will manage a group of sheltered, amenity and general needs housing developments. This will include people management responsibilities for our development-based teams and supporting the delivery of highly effective housing management and administration services.

About You

• Demonstrate experience in a similar role
• Strong working knowledge of housing management as well as housing and welfare benefits legislation
• Budgeting and finance monitoring skills
• Proficient digital skills including confidence in handling our core ICT systems.
• Able to engage well and build strong rapport with our teams, tenants and external partners
• Able to role model Hanover behaviours, values and leadership competencies
• Motivated to coach and develop high-performing teams through development visits across a wide geographical area
• Current UK driving licence, access to car and business insurance
• Completion of a Disclosure Scotland check prior to starting the role
