Summary
Mitie Security is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Vetting Co-Ordinator to provide essential administrative support to our Vetting Team. Location: Brackmills Industrial Estate, Northampton NN4 7SL
Salary: £26,299
Hours: 37.5 Mon - Fri 8:30am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform a variety of administrative duties to support the efficient operation of the Vetting Team.
-Manage data input and maintain accurate records in accordance with internal processes.
-Coordinate reference checks and manage communications with referees and applicants.
-Interpret and follow vetting process flows to ensure compliance with company standards.
-Draft professional written correspondence and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
-Liaise with other departments and external partners as required.
-Ensure all documentation and data handling adhere to confidentiality and data protection standards.
Key Skills & Attributes:
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
-High level of accuracy and attention to detail in administrative work.
-Proficient IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and database systems.
-Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage tasks independently and as part of a team.
-Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment with the ability to prioritise effectively.
-Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment in all areas of responsibility.
Desirable (Not Essential):
-Previous experience in a vetting or background screening role.
-Understanding of DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) processes.
